African Network for Internationalization of Education meets in Kenya
… calls for submissions for sessions
The African Network for Internationalization of Education (ANIE) will hold its 9th Annual Conference in Nairobi, Kenya. The three-day confab, from 2 – 4 October, 2019, is themed ‘Africa, Internationalization and the Global Context: Making it Work’ and will bring together reputed researchers, practitioners, policy makers, students, university leaders and key stakeholders in higher education in Africa and beyond.
To optimize cross-fertilization of divergent views and perspectives, the Conference is calling for submissions of abstracts for different categories of sessions and formats on the under listed sub-themes. These are Continental Higher Education Quality Reforms in Africa and Implications for Internationalization; Africa Centres of Excellence: Are they Making a Difference? Regional Developments in Harmonization of Curriculum and Frameworks; African Students & Scholars: A look at Intra-Africa and Global Academic Mobility Trends.
The rest are Internationalization, Research and Doctoral Training in African Universities; Our Education-Our Future: African Students Forum on Internationalization; and African’s Diaspora & Research Capacity Building in African Universities.
The abstracts should not be more than 300 words and should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org not later than June 15, 2019. Authors of successful abstracts will be informed by June 30, 2019. Registration for the Conference is in progress and will close on August 30, 2019.
