LAWEH DISTRIBUTES BRANDED FACE MASKS TO MOURNERS
In a move that confirms its alertness to its corporate social responsibility, Laweh University College on Saturday, June 6, donated and also distributed a total of 50 pieces of branded face masks to a group of mourners at Sea Lady, a suburb of Teahie.
Twenty of the face masks were presented to organisers of the funeral and the remaining 30 distributed to individuals present.
Prof. Goski Alabi, President of Laweh University College, explained that the donation was motivated by two things: first, Laweh’s adherence to its strong belief in corporate social responsibility and secondly, to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus.
The organisers of the funeral and other recipients of the face mask were grateful for the kind gesture, especially against the backdrop of collective efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Prof. Alabi was accompanied by Sarah Anang, Administrator; Ebenezer T. Hanson, Marketing and Communications Manager; and some students of the University.
