Introduction

Globally, real estate contributes to about 50% of the world’s assets. This contribution is critical for the economic success of the world. Like any other industry, the impact of COVID-19 giving rise to a turbulent financial market has had a bearing on real estate in Ghana.

Objectives

Real estate is a very volatile industry in Ghana. Hence, sellers, purchasers, and stakeholders need to pay attention to current industry trends and developments. This course aims to help participants become aware of the legal, financial, and economic implications involved in the real estate industry. 

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, participants will understand Ghana’s real estate law and management. Participants will be able to:

  • Review the current trends, risks, and opportunities in real estate law and management
  • gain an understanding of law regulating real estate and properties in Ghana
  • Make an informed decision before entering into any sale of contract regarding properties in Ghana
