LAWEH VARSITY HOLDS ORIENTATION FOR NEW STUDENTS

Laweh Open University, on Sunday, September 23, organised an orientation programme for students admitted for the 2018/19 academic year.

Prof. Mrs. Goski Alabi, President of Laweh Open University, led a team of lecturers and other authorities, and took the students, consisting of both graduates and undergraduates, through topics that would help them go through their respective programmes without hitches.

The topics included the Open University Concept; Introduction to the Learning Management System; Lecturer-Student Relationship; Student Counseling and Support; and issues to do with Fees and Course Registration.

Mr. Gabriel King Akpalu, a transformational speaker, author and entrepreneur, was on hand to motivate the students with the topic, ‘What I Wish to Know before Entering the University.’
Currently, Laweh Open University is offering Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programmes in Finance and Accounting, International Business Management, Human Resource Management, and Marketing.

It also offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Accounting, Human Resource Management, Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Entrepreneurship, and Master of Science (MSc.) in Development Economics.

The University will soon begin its Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Bachelor of Arts in Journalism programmes.
